Pink Princess Extravaganza

Georgia is now 5 and we celebrated her birthday with a Princess Dress-Up Party. Honey and G.P. (my parents) flew up and helped to transform our basement into a space fit for a princess. Eleven of them in fact. It seemed that the house was bursting with little girls joyfully dressed in their finest princess regalia who eagerly slathered themselves with makeup, lip gloss and glittery nail polish. After donning feather boas and decorating pink princess hats and wands with jewels and stickers, they played Pin the Kiss on the Frog, and added more make up.
A petite princess power struggle was overheard by the makeup mirror between Georgia and her good friend, Olivia.
G: "I'm pretty."
O: "I'm the prettiest."
G: "No, I'm the prettiest."
O: "We are both the prettiest."

Too cute! Georgia blew out the candles on her castle cake and the royalty then dined on pink cupcakes and juice, opened presents and the whirlwind affair was over. Everyone had a blast and Georgia was super excited that she had carte blanche to apply as much makeup as she wanted. After witnessing all the girl fun, the few moms that stayed decided that maybe we needed to have a princess dress-up party of our own!
